ITS Student Project
ITS students recently built their own in-house AI computer (a Jetson Orin Nano). This computer will allow ITS students to run LLMs or AI libraries locally in shop without needing an Internet connection.
“Working with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit was one of the most practical and forward-looking projects I’ve done in the ITS shop at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School. Instead of just learning concepts, I applied real AI development on edge hardware and built something that could realistically be used in our school.”
